Perfect Balancing Act of monochromatic tone

A perfect balancing act of monochromatic tones, fine textures and nature’s whimsical grass.

Perhaps one of the most sophisticated, sleek and cohesive, quintessential wedding theme We have ever pulled.

When the Bride mentioned that she only ever loves monochromatic colors in her life and therefore wanted to go for a unicolor (greyish tones) look for her wedding day, I was deliriously ecstatic.

When designing a unicolor wedding, I always think about the environment. I like to carry the design scheme throughout from the beginning to the end, tea ceremony – holy matrimony – to dinner reception, so that there is continuity.

However I’m fully aware that her choice to opt for subtle unicolor and go with monochromatic shades all the way, can potentially make this wedding look one dimensional.

So my plan is to add intricacy and depth to this monochromatic color palette by incorporating lots of patterns, materials and layered textures.

By embellishing all these decor elements with intricate custom made decorative details such as rattans place mats, grey washed hard wooden flooring that resembles palest grey french oak, delicate dried and preserved flowers fillers, acrylic transparent chairs, selected antique baccarat chandeliers, beautiful stationery, and other ornate elements that coincide with this greyish tone, I believe we have turned a classic all-white wedding into a noteworthy sea of elegance and refinement.
